Snap-In Dentures

Snap-In Dentures (also called Locator Dentures or Overdentures) are a removable option for full-mouth tooth replacement. They must be taken out each day for cleaning and should not be worn overnight. They are a great option for many patients, but if you’re looking for something that feels more natural and stays in place, implant retained permanent teeth may be a better fit.

Because overdentures are made from acrylic, they tend to break or wear down more easily than the strong zirconia teeth used in our implant retained restorations.

We have worked hard with our US based partners to make permanent, fixed teeth affordable—often comparable in cost to Snap-In Dentures. Our patients consistently report higher comfort, confidence, and satisfaction with implant retained dentures, which is why we typically recommend it over removable overdentures.
